Expected duration: Ongoing We need a tech-savvy “can do” accounts assistant to help organise the payment of our global suppliers, mainly freelance translators. You will need excellent writing skills, diplomacy (English will be a second language for most of them, so reading between the lines is essential, they may not mean to be so direct). You will need to be tech-savvy with the ability to learn multiple online systems (with training).
Tasklist
Check and approve supplier invoices. Check/update/query supplier details, address and bank details Respond to supplier/client accounts queries Set up payments with our in house system and various other payment processors (ie PayPal, Wise) Approve client invoices in project management/accounts systems Send client invoices Error reporting - when something does not work as expected

Have great organisational skills Have an eye for detail - mistakes cost money! Have excellent writing skills Have great diplomacy skills Have good basic maths skills Have great tech skills - you need to know your way around a computer. Have the ability to learn and not be phased by multiple online systems Have a large dollop of common sense Be highly trustworthy
The working hours are flexible in the working day, although there will be some weekly tasks with set hours. We expect it to be less than 8 hours per week.
Learning different online systems without being phased is more important than years of accounts experience.
