I would like a PCB designed with relatively simple purpose. It will act as a moisture sensor, i.e. when the sensor is submerged it is active, when not submerged inactive.
The majority of the time, the unit will be asleep. When sleeping it needs to consume minimal current, i.e. tens of micro amps or less.
On the rising or falling edge from the sensor (i.e. rising edge = sensor is submerged, falling edge = sensor is now dry), the unit needs to wake up, send an SMS message, and then go back to sleep.
Components:
-GSM module (e.g. SIM800/900) -Microcontroller with low powered sleep -External moisture sensor -Power circuitry (power source will either be alkaline batteries, or 3.7v lithium cell)
