Web app is for resourcing employees around UK, making sure employees are deployed to the events utilising the closest personnel. We only have approx 20 users who will need to login to the web app.
Scenario - Company created a spreadsheet of workforce, name / address / tel number. The workforce is all over the UK. - Event is confirmed (lets say Manchester for example). - Admin (company resource manager) needs to delegate 50 of his 100 workforce to an event in Manchester. - Using the web app / website logged in area, admin sets a radius of 25 miles from Manchester to invite the local workforce to the event. - The invite part can be just a list of all workforce that could be used, doesnt need to be an invite from the system unless that is easy. (that could be phase 2).
The spreadsheet I supply will have 4-5 different columns (address / capability / own transport etc.) so ideally we can filter to those also.
I think this can be done using Geocoding https://developers.google.com/maps/documentation/geocoding/ I will do any longitude and latitude entry work (although you will need to show me where I do this in the app).
I would suggest doing this in Wordpress, we don't need to do any design work for this, keep it simple and use something off the shelf (material design for example), I will supply design assets for phase 2.
So from a frontend perspective; - Login (have forgotten username / password capability) - Interface will then show 4-5 filters (based on the spreadsheet) - Then depending on the selections, the filters will show a list of names - this list of names then needs to be submitted on email (include tel number and email address of each person)
