We're looking for new writers for a website about blogging and everything related to it. Our goal is to help beginners to create their own blog, using the right tools and platforms. We are looking for writers that can write the following: • "Best of" guides that compare WordPress themes, blogs, hosting services, design and content tools, etc. • Informational "how to" articles. • Lists of blog name and post ideas. • Actionable and informative guides on SEO, content, blogging, etc. • Blogging tips and tricks. Our average article length is 4000-6000 words, and we are looking for at least two writers that will be able to contribute at least 2 articles per week. Some of our bigger content pieces will be 10,000 to 15,000 words. Outlines will be provided. The skills you need: • A strong understanding of how to create exceptional content. • Attention to detail. • Fluent English speaker. • Strong research skills. Google is your best friend. • A knack for explaining complex things in simple ways. • Understanding the basics of SEO and how to utilize keywords in body and headline text. What we want: • Data/statistics with links, and linking to relevant authority sites. • A casual, conversational tone. • Writing in the first person. • Your articles must be original. • Content as helpful as possible. • Short sentences and paragraphs, a lot of headings and subheadings. • Easy-to-read and understand words. • AIDA formula in the introduction. • Creating Slippery Slide. • Titles and meta descriptions for every article. What we don't want: • Fluff. Each sentence must add value and get the user one step closer to the answer they are looking for. • Superficial Content - You must dig through the deepest corners of the web to present a valuable perspective. It’s a ghostwriting position. Our budget is around $15 per 1000 words. Please include 3-4 links to an example of your previously created writing work (especially if you have works about blogging).
