The freelance writer will help us translate complicated topics around our time and attendance solution (think time tracking, workforce management, payroll, and employment regulations) into approachable, helpful, and easy-to-consume content.
You'll take SEO research and strategy and translate it into new blog posts, landing pages, and optimizations that speak to our B2B audience. You'll also write a variety of other content that informs and delights our prospects, which may include email copy, website copy, and sales collateral, as well as long-form assets like ebooks, discussion guides, and checklists. You should also be able to tackle short-form copy like PPC ads and social posts. You'll join meetings with members of our team to gain insights, and translate that information into understandable content written in our brand voice and tone.
This position will report to the Content & Editorial Manager, who will make sure you have the proper foundation in place (brand voice and tone, compliance guardrails) to be successful in this role.
We are looking for a commitment of 20 hours/week (assume 2-3 of those hours participating in meetings with the team), with potential to continue on in a similar or reduced capacity. This is a remote position.
