Please do not apply for this piece of work unless you are confident you have the skillset to do it. Otherwise you will waste your time and mine.
This is the task:
We have a wordpress site, running the avada theme and with the yoast plugin.
We want to do the following:
1. Create 15 template pages in the standard way. These pages will contain images, copy, a google map and be optimised for seo. We will do most of this, but you'll be expected to offer a couple of hours to help with the initial set up of about 5. 2. Taking these pages as a starting point for what the end page needs to look like, we need to import 200 variations for each page. 3. We have the data for the copy, seo data, map co-ordinates etc, these need to be imported in via wp al import or if you have the skills we can find a way to create these directly in the database.
4. The end result of the project is that we will have create 200 unqiue variations of each of these pages. Each will contain it's own map, it's own copy, it's own images and have unique seo optimisation.
The data we import should be mapped to the correct places on the 15 template pages.
We have the copy, the seo data, the google maps co-ordinates etc.
Your job is provide the technical expertise to help us import the data into the website in a way that means the pages that we import, are available to view in a browser in the same way the pages we create manually are.
Pages will have hyperlinks, both internal and external.
There will be a need to bulk import images to the website as well and include references to these in the data we upload so they can be used on the pages.
If you are confident working with wordpress, avada theme (or similar), have experience with wp all import and mysql, then this project is likely not too difficult for you.
If you do not have these skills - do not bother to apply.
The work will be successfully signed off when:
1. All the data has been successfully imported into the website. 2. The new pages are all showing the data correctly at the front end of the website. 3. We have completed spot checking of pages to ensure they are correct at the back end.
If the 3 points above are not met, the project will not be successfully completed.
