Edgefactory is a creative multimedia brand experience company that specializes in content for meetings and events. This includes digital signage content and AV deployment. We have experience in various content management systems and media players.
We are seeking help with developing a website that can pull data dynamically from an excel sheet that correlates to what appears on the screen. For example, if we need the screen to say "Welcome to the Show" rather than our team exporting a PNG from photoshop to overlay on the motion background, we would like to have that text be input into an excel sheet and that appears on the screen. All while knowing the appropriate font, size, placement and can adjust based on the number of characters and design content.
Additionally, we need the ability to have a live clock and weather based on the location of the digital sign. The ability to add RSS feeds or other content from the web depending on client needs.
We have the potential of cooperate events that need up to 100 different digital signs that display different content at different times so the website will need to be able to handle this and thus we tell each player on the digital sign to pull from the link designated for that screen.
Content scheduling is necessary as well via the excel sheet so the player knows what to play on the screen based on the schedule created within the excel.
Essentially the excel sheet is the master plan for the digital signage players to reference and display content and other elements.
The budget for this project is negotiable based on the scope and the level of commitment needed to execute. Once we have a scope of work meeting we will ask that you provide an estimate to complete the project.
