EQUAL, a national independent advisory group set up to tackle racial inequality in the UK’s criminal justice system, is looking for a brand identity specialist to analyse our current audience and website, and to advise us on creating a strong brand identity across our platforms to move the project forward for its next phase of growth.
Our website: https://www.equalcjs.org.uk/
This work will feed into plans to redesign our website in order to grow our influence and reach, and make content more accessible and exciting to other individuals, organisations in the sector, government officials, and community groups and young people impacted by our activities.
We are looking for someone preferably with expertise in charity or non-for-profit branding who can: - Provide a portfolio of previous work in the charities sector - Provide insights on the type of results realistic for our budget and timeline - Carry out research into our audience and their needs. This could be through setting up user-testing, focus groups or analysing user behaviour via Google Analytics. - Analyse existing content and provide copywriting and SEO optimization support to ensure content is user- friendly and accessible – potentially to make ready for the new website. - Help design and develop a communications toolkit to ensure the relevant style and tone is being met across different channels - Provide clear suggestions as to how to ensure our website is fit for purpose, including direction on how to change the layout, font and images to meet our objectives
