Our company, HBCUGameday, produces media content surrounding HBCU sports and culture. HBCUGameday.com is a WordPress website. We have an opportunity to license our content on a new platform and we need to create a dynamic RSS feed that offers more content from our posts than the standard WordPress RSS feed built into our site.
We have a list of specific requirements that the RSS feed must adhere to. One of the vital components that we need to be included in this feed is our third-party video player, which is supplied by Connatix.
We need our Connatix video player implemented into the RSS feed using an iframe code snippet.
On this project, you would work with our Operations Manager who has some coding experience.
You would need to edit the functions.php file of our WordPress theme to create the new RSS feed.
We have a staging site to test out the feed.
Attached is a document that outlines all of the feed specifications.
Today is 5/20/21 and we would like to complete this task this week.
