I support the OpenSimulator Hypergrid for new users with accessibility in mind via an Open Source viewer application. The application itself is free to users and accounts are provided free to users so no revenue is generated from the application. Unfortunately, not all users can download the client application. Given the movement to remote education and work world-wide, I would like to offer a browser based version so that no download is required. Any device with a browser should then be able to access server-based virtual worlds for remote education, workplaces, and socialization without downloading the current application. The target use cases are low income students, educators, and mobile device users who do not have desktop machines available for download. So this is a #TechForGood project. The current open source 3D viewer application code is written in C++. Graphics in the application are currently OpenGL with real-time rendering. I am looking for an someone to use the source code to create a web application version and provide documentation so that I can do updates.
