Expected duration: 1 - 2 weeks We have a small six page website.
It is using Joomla version 3.9.15. We need to update it to the latest version, 3.9.23.
Whenever we try to do to so, we are presented with the following error message:
"Warning: Joomla\CMS\Filesystem\Folder::create: Could not create folder.Path: /vhost/vhost16 File Checksum Failed"
Please see attached screenshot of this error message.
We have tried to install the Joomla ZIP file, change folder permissions for the /tmp folder etc. but still suffer the same error message.
We also have four extensions: Akeeba Backup Core package Installer - Install from Web JCE 2.9.1 RSFirewall! 3.0.2
When we try to update these, we are presented with the following error messages:
"Warning Joomla\CMS\Filesystem\Folder::create: Could not create folder.Path: /vhost/vhost16 Update path does not exist. You are missing your Update Code from RSFirewall! — Firewall Configuration — Updates. More information Error connecting to the server: 403"
"Error Error updating COM_INSTALLER_TYPE_TYPE_. The checksum verification failed. Please make sure you are using the correct update server! Failed to download package. Download it and install manually from https://www.rsjoomla.com/updates/com_rsfirewall/Component/com_rsfirewall.zip."

Since trying to update the above, the website's homepage now shows the following error message at the top:
"Notice: Undefined variable: sitename in /vhost/vhost21/p/s/y/ourwebsiteURL.co.uk/www/templates/ourwebsiteURL/index.php on line 34"
We need the above three problems fixing.
