We are looking for someone to resolve PHP issues with our website and to fix our backups which are currently not working.
https://kaarbontech.co.uk/ is the website of KaarbonTech Ltd. We provide asset management software and complementary services to highways maintenance teams in councils, local authorities and tier 1 contractors. We help over 35% of UK authorities define and manage their risk on a day to day basis. The website is built using Wordpress and uses the Wellinor theme. We are able to make changes to the website, design new pages and content using the WordPress editing features and plugins.
The site currently has two issues that need resolving:
A PHP update is required and we have been advised by our current admin that this can be problematic so we require someone that has this expertise to make a clone of the site and then update the PHP.
For backups we are using UpdraftPlus Premium. This should allow us to make backups to Onedrive or Google, etc. However, this is not currently working. It appears that the backups may be failing because of some database errors. It seems when it’s trying to do the final backup it is looking for files that don’t actually exist within the database.
This contract will be priced per hour, but ongoing work may be negotiated for the right candidate. Please only apply if you reside in the UK and speak fluent English.
