Expected duration: 3 - 4 weeks While this is a standalone project, we are ultimately looking for a new animation team to continue our series, called Bad Powers, which will consist of around eight 8-10 min animations. We are currently pitching a pilot episode to distributors.
THE PROJECT: BRIDEZILLA ~90 seconds. 2D cartoon in style of The Flowers (see sample). All design and animation is required. Voice over, composition, sound design, storyboarding is NOT required.
Bridezilla is a short cartoon about a demanding bride talking to her wedding planner. Her dream wedding is shown through a fast-paced, comedic animation as she talks through her increasingly unreasonable and outlandish requirements. At the end of the piece, there’s a change of pace as she admits the one thing she still needs to do is secure a groom.

Source script can be provided. This is not the animation shooting script, but an indicative draft.
ABOUT YOU You will have experience in 2D cartoon animation, including designing backgrounds and assets. The quality level required is significantly higher than an explainer video so you will have experience at that level. You have your own creative ideas but are used to working with your clients' requirements. We expect that you have a good grasp of the English language and are able to understand the subtle nuances and complexities within the script.
