We're looking for a developer that knows Ruby and React.js and can hit the ground running with an established team. We have a backlog of features and bugs to tackle, so your on-boarding/training will be spent solving various issues and building small features. We use Pivotal Tracker to manage our development, so any familiarity with that platform is a plus.
Our product is a Web based 3D modeling platform that enables solar professionals to design large scale solar arrays. We use three-js for 3D modeling, and react-js for UI and have Ruby API based system for processing the application backend. This product is a conversion of Desktop software which we developed as an Extension for Sketchup with similar features using Sketchup's Ruby API. We have an established customer base for our Desktop software, Web is going to be rolled out soon in the market with various enhancements leveraging the web platform. Your role will be critical in the Web tool development and its growth.
As with all remote teams, communication is of utmost importance. You'll be expected to give frequent updates on progress and join team conference calls. As such, fluent spoken/written English is required.
