We are an escape room business and part of one of our games will have users interact with a computer to unlock a door.
What we need to build is as follows:
The player will get the computer and will need to enter a password to unlock. Then on screen will be a graphical representation of part of the room (in the style of a retro point and click game). Users can then interact with the image on screen and click on some of the items in the image. When they click on the image of the door, a message should come up that says something link "Hmm... this door seems familiar", then some options will appear that are "Run away from door", "Set fire to door", "Kick door down", "Simply open the door". If they choose one of the first three options a message will display e.g. "You are too unfit to run away", "You have no lighter to start a fire, and a fire in an enclosed space is probably a stupid idea", "Please don't kick our door down" If they choose to "Simply open the door" then a flashing "Door Opening" sign should appear for a couple of seconds, and then the it say "Door UNLOCKED".
The program needs to work so that users can't close it (i.e. using ctrl + alt +del or similar - we could maybe make it so they only have a mouse to use??)
