What I need: Someone fluent in Flutter development. English fluency is important too for understanding. I want an individual freelancer, not a team. I do not have money to pay overheads for "teams". I also don't like teams as there are more people involved than what really need to be.
Type of person: Reliable, honest, hard working, finds solution to things does not give up so easily. Must be someone I can rely on for technical knowledge I am not a developer so people like me look to you as the professionals! If I know something more about development than you it just looks bad
The app: It is a fitness based app. All the designs are done and ready in Marvel
What's done so far: Designs in Sketch and Marvel
History: Worked with 2 developers from this site and Upwork that had great reviews and told me they were fluent in Flutter. Turns our when things went wrong they gave me excuses this couldn't be done in Flutter etc etc, then I know about features in Flutter you can do more than them and have to show it. Sometimes one developer I used was not even using latest package. So I need someone who is proactive and likes their job!!
API/CMS: This all needs to be done. I am open to any solution to this. I just need it to work and be easy to add content to my app and post
Price: My budget range is in the $2-3K mark
Timeline: This is for you to say, I'm hoping 1-2 months. I want honesty. Don't promise what you cannot do.
Note: This project was done and given by another good freelancer on this site. He was and is good, did good work and that is the code I have right now HOWEVER he had no discipline. He missed 4 deadlines, I even extended deadlines for him and I always got excuses like he was ill, broken laptop, exams etc. Basically good worker but with no discipline. When he would update me on the work, it was at ridiculous times and when I reply, he replies a week later. So that type of personality of a person is what I want to avoid. You must hit all deadlines we agree and milestones and communication must be rapid and smooth,
Potential for more work, this is first an IOS launch. Then after Android. So you must have an iPhone yourself and you must have experience with IOS apps. Don't send me links to android apps just because I wrote Flutter.(Seems to be a common problem when you say you want Flutter, developers online immediately think this is only for Android, it's not the case and there is a reason why)
You must be up to date with the latest flutter packages
I expect you to be a pro in your field, you must review your work always. I'm not here to pay you and also review your work.
What I need to see you to talk to you:
- Some proof of apps you've done and EXACTLY what was your role in them. 2 MAXIMUM do not send a massive list. Explain it properly what was your role don't just send a link
- A Linkedin is preferred so i can see your career background
- Positive reviews here on PPH/Upwork, doesn't matter how many I just need to know I can trust you for this job
- I need someone to start asap
- I like people like myself that work freelance and we work on weekends too and like our work!
- Must be be strong at pixel perfect designs
- Good experience with Flutter
