Expected duration: less than 1 week We want a custom redesign of the customer facing GUI for Lumise product customiser interface.
This project is part design (although the design aspect will be minimal) and part (mostly) frontend web development.
If you are familiar with Lumise product designer, it will be helpful. Essentially it is an interface which allows customers to create custom designs for a given product. However in our view the interface leaves something to be desired and has some usability issues, especially on mobile devices.
Therefore we want to rework the frontend. Note that Lumise makes heavy use of HTML5 canvas - and while it will not be necessary as such to get into any canvas-based tweaking, it will be needed to map various functions of the redesigned interface to the events that would usually take place either in the canvas, or simply via other Lumise-native javascript functions.
We can assist with this somewhat as I have spent some time looking into how this could be done but obviously ideally our involvement would be minimal.
We have a previously set up Lumise installation and will of course link you to some example products.
I have also put together a more detailed document explaining what is needed as well as some mockups of our proposed alternative, mobile optimised, more user friendly layout.
