Integrating a method of earning cryptocurrency (dgb) while playing Steam games, via my Gaming Platform
With a help of one Dev, I have created a web application - using Ruby on Rails, the project aims to allow users play any game via Steam Network and while gaming earn cryptocurrency (DigiByte). Also, we added a special feature on Dota2, when users playing Dota2 they can earn more DigiByteCoins, and also the history of the gameplay appears in the website of each user. How it works.
User(s) login to the website - using their Steam login, once is verified user returns to the gaming user profile (website) and downloads the miner.
Run the miner, user add unique.od.distrobutes from the gaming platfrom ( security measure)
This miner automatic detects the GPU of the user PC ( only for Nvidia and AMD GPUs) and the user is able to start or stop the miner.
Once the miner is verified and confirmed the connection the user is ready to play Dota2 and earn coins. Dota2 should show all info of the previous game on the website ( for some reason those info are not returning, but they used to do) the code is untouched! So this is the weird thing for me - the results of the Dota2 should be appearing into the past games tab of the user in the website. ( This is not functioning now, but before it used to work) as a result I can not see or detect any games or any minable coins during the gaming session.
Latest test, was taken place by the ex-dev and seemed to be working, the only thing that I changed was the (worker) of the minerEXE, exe miner suppose to record user game play, and earnings of coins which is listening (taking data) from the miningpoolhub. I need some serious help to fix those issues. The sooner the better.
I usually do changes via Visual Studio, direct on the server, then I use server console (Digital Ocean) to update the git....check.status etc... There are some things that needs some edit/readjustment..

2. Encrypt - EXE miner file, after check that miner is set up correctly.( Since, only ex-dev had access on this file, I had to decompile.and change one attribute - the "worker" / "user" that was connected to the miningpoolhub. Mine.has.a different name than the exe file was reading from, so I have edit and update the file correctly, regarding miner settings from miningpoolhub.
3. Make sure miner application is set up properly, using worker info, mining pools. We add 4 mining pool in total. Would be nice to check the code is in correct order.
( So, because I am not that familiar, do I need to setup a worker.on each of the mining pools the exe miner is suppose to run?) We discuss..
4. Update miningpoolhub and workers. This has already been set. But an experience view would be appreciated to make sure we are all in the right direction.
5. Verify results on the website, after game complete.
6. Database - SQL check
7. Update admin - settings - being able to remove user from accessing the website in case of abuse or fraud detection.
I believe that someone with the appropriate experience can identify and resolve these issues.
