I’m looking for someone who can assist me to take up a few DIVI theme Wordpress jobs when I get too busy. It is a real mix of large and small jobs on a flexible ongoing freelance basis.
Must be an independent freelancer not agency or multiple people.
These are all jobs I’m competent in but am looking to speed up the workflow where possible. I've been building in DIVI since it launched and have completed over 200 sites in this method many of which i'm still responsible for hosting and updating.
I need someone with a good level of experience working with DIVI and making DIVI work well on all device sizes. I try and avoid unnecessary hard coding where possible and also avoid gimmicky layouts. All development must be sustainable and not break in future DIVI release updates.
I will always advise on the approach id take and how the job should be done if needed. For example which plugins to use, which layout to copy as a starter etc. Often I will be able to set these up in advance and install the required plugins (usually a mix of free and premium plugins) so the site is ready to have the changes made or be developed on. This may also involve cloning of an existing page to create multiple version with a similar layout.
Above average css skills are also needed.
You should also have reasonable English skills to be able to identify errors in client copy or to allow you to pull out the main points of the copy if it needs breaking up in the DIVI layout. (for example taking a paragraph from the text and making part of it into a sub heading).
All sites (new and existing) are built and maintained in the same way. But all are unique designs and have different functions and will often use different plugins although 80% will always be the same on all sites.
I’ve listed my ideal requirements in the attachment. You don’t need to be practiced in all of these areas but experience and competency using DIVI is essential. This includes all aspects listed below.
Some jobs might be fixed price other on a basic hourly rate but all will be agreed before we start any job.
