We need an English speaking developer preferably European to help us with speeding up AJAX functionality we have. we have custom + and - buttons on our product pages that allow customers to add and remove products into the basket on the fly. Currently there is a delay when clicking the + button multiple times in a fast way, and you will end up with less products in the basket than the amount of times clicked.
so on the Category page, if you add say 20 slices to the basket at once the 'x in your basket' message seems to update quite quickly but it doesnt seem to correspond to the actual basket updating so while you may be able to rapidly add 20 slices, and it reads '20 in your basket' if you scroll to the top its often much less (depending how rapid you were with the clicks)
almost never does it actually equal the 20 you added to the basket this seems to be the same on the product page when you use the same +/- buttons
so I guess its either two option unless you can suggest a better alternative?;
1. slow down the add to basket user inputs, while updating them the +/- button does become temporarily disabled once clicked so maybe this needs to be extended slightly to account for the actual basket update and only once thats complete does it allow further input
2. speed up the ajax add-to-cart function so it manages to process in time for the next user input
