A Jekyll website that I manage for a client requires a new feature that I need help with. The task is to pull the title, publishing date, and link of the items in an external RSS feed (ex: https://investors.lianbio.com/rss/news-releases.xml), and then use this data in the website's front matter.
I have tried to implement this plugin: https://github.com/mcred/jekyll-xml-source but I was unsuccessful.
I am looking for a developer who is very family with Jekyll, who could help with a solution for bringing the information from an external RSS feed into the website.
Deliverables
- Solution to bring data from 3 external RSS feed links into Jekyll project and be accessible in the front-matter
- Solution must reflect updates in the RSS feed (i.e. the website should always show the most up to date data in the feed)
Hourly Range: $25.00-$50.00
