Thinking of making my friend a puzzle box for his birthday im thinking of something along the lines of:
Several stages, 6 arcade buttons with Leds inside, 5 seperate leds and a relay.
Stage 1 6 Buttons need to be pressed in a certain order 642135 (EXAMPLE) any other order and they reset these buttons will have lights in them when pressed they will go on, if order is wrong lights go off.
Correct order a seperate led stage 1 led will illuminate and stage 2 will begin
Stage 2: arcade button 2 starts flashing if pressed button 4 will flash if pressed within 3 seconds button 5 then 3 then 6 then 1 if the time is longer than 3 seconds between each press stage 2 will reset and button 2 will start flashing again, if all pressed stage 2 light will illumitate and stage 3 will begin.
Stage 3: same as stage 2 with delay shorter this time 1 second and different order 653214 if completed stage 3 led will illumitae and stage 4 will begin.
Stage 4: is no arcade leds are illumitaed if any arcade button is pressed the led for that button will illumitae for 2 seconds. If all arcade buttons are pressed all at the same time or within 2 seconds stage 4 is complete the stage 4 led will illuminate and stage 5 will begin.
Stage 5: all arcade leds will start flashing if no buttons are pressed within 5 minutes a relay will trigger.
The relay will be a 5v one i have attached an images of the relay, arcade buttons, and leds i will be using.
How much would the coding for this cost?
Was thinking a starndard arduino uno would work for this as long as there is enough GPIO pins. The relay can be any type really as long as the arduino can trigger. The load side of the relay will bridge the connection for a 12v mag lock.
