Looking for a long term designer to work with us on all our stuff.
Illustration skills required. Please bid for full time (~5+ hours per day) based work, monthly compensation.
We're a human biology / science community, into a bit of fringe biohacking (eyesight). It's a large community, we've been around for 20 years, have apps, Youtube, Website, forum, Facebook group, podcast, etc.
What we need:
- Somebody who can take all of our many resources, and give them a consistent visual theme - Make headers for Facebook, Youtube, Insta, Twitter, etc. - Make our forum pretty - Help us with YouTube video content, as far as adding some visuals for our explainer videos - Ongoing social media content creation - Help us make our phone apps look good
It's kind of a wide ranging task. You ideally have the skills for above, along with illustration skills and a bit of a whimsical attitude towards things. Because while our topic is quite serious and science based, we do like obscure humor and don't take ourselves very seriously.
This is a long term thing. It'll take ages to make everything. Plus it'll take some time to get on the same page visually, possibly.
So ideally you'd have a portfolio to share with us, maybe something that speaks to you when we say ... whimsical and obscure inside jokes, and science people liking deadpan humor.
