we require a responsive website to host a raffle/competition online. We require a game of skill as an entry criteria for participants to be able to purchase tickets/ create an account. Please have a look at raffle house as to what sort of game/ skill test they use: https://rafflehouse.com/ Once they have passed the game of skill test they can buy 1, 5, 10, 20 raffle tickets and checkout. Alternatively it might be possible to use a simple multiple choice question instead and also allow free entries if they refer a friend this option needs to be verified. We would like to have a refer a friend option either way where if the participant shares a link and their friend purchases a ticket, then they can get a free ticket or so.
In terms of website we would need a homepage/landing page that has a beachy feel with a background image or video at the top and purchase ticket button followed by a gallery and text below as you scroll down. The theme/identity should be reflected on subsequent pages as well. We don't need many pages, a contact page, FAQ, T&Cs, My Account with friend referral section via link and social media and a shopping cart, maybe similar to the Tramwaypath raffle (https://tramwaypath.co.uk/product/raffle-ticket/), but with a more visually stunning homepage. We have all video and image content available. When we started building we used an Astra Starter template called 'Simply Natural' and used a video as a background for the top section.
We want to sell a minimum of 250.000 tickets and a maximum of around 750.000 tickets over 2-3 months, which means that (if things go well) the site/server needs to be able to handle high traffic.
We have secured a domain name which we currently use on a hosted wordpress/woocommerce site (in 'coming soon' mode) as we were thinking of building it ourselves.
We are currently speaking to Sterling Lotteries as a payment provider, this will need to be integrated into the website.
Please let us know if you have any more questions in order to provide a timeline and a quote for us.
Can you also please provide a few website references that you built for us to view.
